Temporary Workers Terms of Engagement Policy

Holiday Procedure
  1. The holiday year for Recra Recruitment Solutions Ltd is April 1st to March 31st.
  2. If you wish to take paid holiday you must inform Recra Recruitment Solutions Ltd in writing of the dates, you are requesting. This should be done via a Holiday Request
    form.

  3. The amount of notice should be at least twice the length of the requested holiday, but no less than 1 week (7 days).
  4. Bank Holidays are included in your annual holiday entitlement, should you wish to take a bank holiday as paid holiday, you must still comply with the holiday procedure.
  5. The holiday request form must be completed and submitted within the notice period required.
  6. Paid holiday will only be paid if it has been accrued.
  7. The maximum consecutive paid holiday will be 5 days at any one time, unless prior authorised by Recra Recruitment Solutions Ltd.’s discretion.

  8. All holiday requests must be approved by Recra Recruitment Solutions Ltd; this will be done in the form of the ‘Holiday Request Form’ being returned to you signed and authorised. This document will be the only document recognised in case of a dispute.

  9. Umbrella Schemes, Self Employed workers and Ltd Companies workers are excluded from the Holiday Procedure.

  10. Holiday entitlement will not be carried over to the next year. It must be taken in the holiday year in which it accrues.

  11. Should you wish to log a complaint / grievance, then this should be done in writing to Recra Recruitment Solutions Ltd within 7 days. Any appeals will go to the Managing Director whose decision is final.

  12. Recra Recruitment Solutions Ltd, reserve the right to deduct payment for any over paid holiday to a Temporary Worker.

  13. None of the provisions above or in our Terms of Engagement shall affect your status as a Temporary worker.
